Redbreast Lustau is a premium Irish whiskey finished in sherry casks from the renowned Bodegas Lustau winery in Jerez, Spain. It is a collaboration between two esteemed houses of whiskey and sherry, resulting in a uniquely rich and complex spirit.
On the nose, Redbreast Lustau boasts notes of dried fruit, toasted oak, and sherry sweetness, with a subtle hint of spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and creamy, with flavors of raisins, figs, and nutmeg, along with a hint of vanilla and a touch of sherry wood. The finish is long and warming, with a gentle spice and a pleasant sweetness.
The sherry cask finish in Redbreast Lustau adds a layer of complexity to this already exceptional Irish whiskey. It is a blend of single pot still whiskeys that have been aged in a combination of American oak barrels and Oloroso sherry casks, before being finished in the Bodegas Lustau sherry casks.
