Glenmorangie 18 Year Old Extremely Rare is a highly regarded single malt Scotch whisky that is aged for a minimum of 18 years in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in Oloroso Sherry casks. This process creates a beautifully complex and rich whisky with a deep amber color and a nose of honey, toffee, and dark chocolate, with undertones of dried fruit and spices. On the palate, there are flavors of dried fruit, nuts, and vanilla, with a smooth, creamy texture and a long, warming finish.
The whisky is made in the Glenmorangie Distillery in the Scottish Highlands, using traditional methods that have been honed over 170 years. The distillery is known for its use of tall stills, which allow for a greater purity of spirit, and the use of oak casks that are carefully selected to bring out the unique characteristics of the whisky.
