Patrón Gran Burdeos Tequila is a luxury añejo tequila produced by the Patrón Spirits Company, a brand known for its premium tequila offerings. Gran Burdeos is crafted from the finest 100% Weber blue agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico.
The production process involves slow roasting the agave in traditional brick ovens, followed by crushing, fermentation, and distillation. After distillation, the tequila is aged in American and French oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months. The unique aspect of Gran Burdeos is that after the initial aging, the tequila is then finished in vintage Bordeaux wine barrels, which impart a distinct character and flavor profile to the spirit.
