Herradura Seleccion Suprema is an ultra-premium tequila made from 100% Blue Weber Agave, which is harvested at the peak of its maturity and cooked in traditional clay ovens. The cooked agave is then crushed using a traditional tahona wheel and the resulting juice is double-distilled in copper pot stills. The tequila is then aged in American oak barrels for up to 49 months to achieve its smooth, complex flavor profile.
This tequila is a rich, amber color with aromas of vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak. On the palate, it is smooth and well-balanced with notes of agave, dark chocolate, and roasted nuts. The finish is long and luxurious, with hints of vanilla and spice.
Herradura Seleccion Suprema is a sipping tequila that is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks to fully appreciate its complex flavor profile. It has received numerous awards and accolades, including a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and a score of 96 points from the Ultimate Spirits Challenge.
