Don Julio 1942 is a premium tequila that is produced by the Don Julio tequila distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. It is a tribute to the founder of the distillery, Don Julio Gonzalez, who began making tequila in 1942.
This tequila is made using 100% blue Weber agave that has been aged for a minimum of two and a half years in American white oak barrels. The aging process gives the tequila a rich and complex flavor profile, with notes of caramel, vanilla, and oak.
