Description
Cazcabel Honey is a tequila liqueur that is made using 100% blue agave tequila from the Jalisco region of Mexico, and honey from local bees. The tequila is double-distilled in traditional copper stills and then blended with the honey to create a smooth and sweet liqueur.
The brand was founded by Master Distiller, Jesus Hernandez, who drew on his experience in both tequila and whiskey production to create a unique and high-quality product. The honey used in Cazcabel Honey is harvested from the same region as the agave used in the tequila, and the two are blended together to create a balance of sweetness and agave flavor.
Cazcabel Honey is best served chilled and can be enjoyed on its own, as a dessert drink, or used in a variety of cocktails. Its flavor profile is described as having notes of caramel, honey, and vanilla, with a subtle tequila kick. It has won several awards, including a Double Gold Medal at the 2018 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
