The tequila begins its journey in the rich volcanic soils of Arta's estate in Mexico, where 100% organic Blue Weber agave is grown. After harvesting, the agave hearts are slow-roasted, fermented, and distilled to create a pure and flavorful spirit.
It's then aged for two years in American oak barrels, a process that imparts a rich, amber color and deepens the tequila's flavor profile. A blend of natural flavors, including vanilla, chocolate, and a touch of spice, combines to form a complex and well-rounded spirit.
On the nose, Arta Anejo Tequila reveals a bouquet of cooked agave, complemented by the sweet warmth of vanilla and oak. The palate is rich and complex, with the sweet and earthy notes of the agave harmoniously balanced with the depth of the oak.
