Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Bruichladdich Distillery. It is part of the distillery's heavily peated Port Charlotte range, which is named after the long-closed Port Charlotte distillery on the Isle of Islay.
This whisky is matured in a combination of first-fill American whiskey casks, second-fill American whiskey casks, and second-fill French wine casks. It is bottled at a cask strength of 50% ABV, non-chill filtered, and with no added colouring.
The nose of Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 Year Old is full of peat smoke and charred oak, with notes of vanilla, toffee, and citrus fruits. On the palate, it has a rich and creamy mouthfeel, with flavours of sweet malt, smoky peat, and dark chocolate, accompanied by hints of dried fruits and spices. The finish is long and smoky, with a subtle sweetness.
