Westward American Single Malt Whiskey is a product of Westward Whiskey Distillery, based in Portland, Oregon. It is made from Pacific Northwest two-row barley, fermented with American ale yeast and distilled in traditional copper pot stills. The whiskey is aged in lightly charred new American oak barrels and is non-chill filtered, which means it retains more of the natural flavors and aromas.
Westward American Single Malt Whiskey has a rich, smooth and complex flavor profile, with notes of honey, vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak. There are also hints of dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans and dried fruit. The finish is long and warming, with a subtle spice that lingers on the palate.
