The name "roku" translates to "six" in Japanese, representing the six unique botanicals used in the gin's creation, including sakura flower, sakura leaf, yuzu peel, sencha tea, gyokuro tea, and sansho pepper.
Roku Gin is made using a traditional Japanese method known as "shunjiu," which involves distilling each of the botanicals separately before blending them together to create a harmonious flavor profile. The result is a gin with a delicate and complex flavor, with floral and citrus notes balanced by a subtle spiciness.
Roku Gin is also distinguished by its distinctive bottle, which features six sides, each representing one of the six botanicals used in the gin's production. The label on the bottle is made of washi paper, a traditional Japanese material that adds to the overall elegance and authenticity of the product.
