Mumm Cordon Rouge NV is the signature champagne of the prestigious House of Mumm. This Non-Vintage (NV) champagne is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier grapes from multiple vintages, which gives it a consistent and well-balanced character. The wine is aged in the cellars for about 20 months, longer than the legal requirement of 15 months, to enhance its flavors and aromas.
In the glass, Mumm Cordon Rouge NV displays a golden yellow color with a lively stream of fine bubbles. The nose is rich and complex, featuring aromas of ripe fruits like peach and apricot, complemented by notes of vanilla, caramel, and brioche. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and rich, with flavors of ripe fruits, nuts, and a hint of toast.
