Lagavulin 8 Year Old Islay Malt is a single malt Scotch whisky produced by Lagavulin Distillery on the island of Islay in Scotland. It is a younger and more peaty expression of Lagavulin's well-known 16-year-old whisky, and was released in celebration of the distillery's 200th anniversary in 2016.

Lagavulin 8 Year Old is made using malted barley that has been heavily peated, giving the whisky its characteristic smoky and peaty flavor. The barley is mashed and then fermented with yeast in wooden washbacks before being distilled twice in copper pot stills. The spirit is then aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks for a minimum of 8 years, which imparts additional flavors of vanilla, oak, and dried fruit.
