In the creation of Renegade Gin, Doghouse Distillery starts by fermenting and distilling 100% malted barley, resulting in a malted base spirit instead of the more commonly used neutral grain spirit. This base is then distilled a second time with a carefully curated selection of botanicals, including classic juniper, coriander, angelica, orris, lemon and lime peel, and a medley of less traditional ingredients like lemongrass, cardamom, and bergamot.

On the palate, Doghouse Renegade Gin reveals its innovative personality. The malted barley base offers a slightly sweet and grainy character, a departure from traditional gin profiles.
