While the growing season began with challenges and lower yields, the result is a wine of remarkable purity and complexity. The extended sunshine and cool nights allowed the grapes to ripen slowly, enhancing aromatic intensity and structure.

The winemaking process was equally meticulous. Free-run juice was cold settled and primarily fermented in stainless steel tanks, with a small portion fermented in oak vats using wild yeasts to bring notes of makrut lime and textural richness. A rigorous tasting of 82 unique parcels led to a final blend that captures everything Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc is celebrated for—elegance, vibrancy, and precision.
