Christian Drouin Calvados Selection is a delightful 2-year-old Calvados produced by the well-known French distillery, Christian Drouin. This Calvados is made using a blend of apples grown in the Pays d'Auge region of Normandy, which is renowned for producing some of the best apples in the world.
This Calvados has been aged for a minimum of 2 years in oak casks, which gives it a pale gold color and a rich, complex flavor profile. On the nose, there are aromas of ripe apples, vanilla, and caramel. The palate is dominated by the flavors of baked apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg, which are balanced by a subtle sweetness.
