Description
To craft Bombay Sapphire Premier Cru, the citrus peels are first macerated in triple-distilled neutral grain spirit for several days to extract their essential oils. These oils are then carefully blended with a selection of 10 exotic botanicals, including juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root, orris root, cassia bark, almond, lemon peel, cubeb berries, grains of paradise, and liquorice. The result is a complex and smooth gin with a delicate balance of citrus, spice, and floral notes.
After blending, the gin is left to rest for several weeks before being bottled in a distinctive blue glass that pays homage to the gin's namesake, the Star of Bombay, a rare and precious sapphire mined in Sri Lanka. This unique presentation highlights the gin's exceptional quality and premium craftsmanship.
